Seismoto means "earth motion" and relates to the motion of the coffee fruit and its amazing journey from farm to cup, where ultimately, after our morning ritual of coffee it propels us into the day.

Our feature espresso and coffee is Panther Coffee, a terrific brand with beans roasted right here in Traverse City, Michigan. We also plan to bring in a guest bean every two or three months for our patrons to try something that we found interesting or especially tasty. There are now thousands of coffee roasters in America and around the world, working hard to uniquely source coffee and perfect roasting profiles, we want to serve some of these in our shop. We feature Onyx Tea with exceptional quality and interesting flavor combinations like genmaicha, peppermint yerba mate and raspberry hibiscus.
About Us
We travel a lot. In those experiences we’ve come across some great coffee venues. Seismoto is a collaboration of those experiences combined with the love of great coffee products, including the matcha, baked goods and some awesome cookies.

We are located in the beautiful town of Traverse City, Michigan. Specifically at 3344 Cass Road, near the intersection of South Airport,on the south side of town. Seismoto Coffee Bar is located inside the Atomic Marketplace, a new modern building with extraordinary architectural lines and ample inside/outside seating (PLUS EASY PARKING!!!).
